I'm one of the lucky ones; I've known I wanted to be a therapist for as long as I can remember. I genuinely love the work I do and am reminded of that so many times each day. I feel so grateful to be the person chosen to sit with people in their most vulnerable moments, watching them grow, shift, and find their way through.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Northwestern University, where I developed a strong foundation in understanding human behavior and mental processes. So many of my biggest lessons came after graduation, when I headed to Ecuador to teach English and work alongside indigenous communities there. My time abroad taught me how much healing happens through genuine connection, and how important it is to meet people exactly where they are, without judgment.
Eventually I went back to school and earned my Master's in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. Since then, I've had the chance to work in all kinds of settings: Elementary and Middle Schools, PHP and IOP programs, addiction treatment, group private practice, and now my own solo practice. Each of those experiences taught me something different about what people need to feel truly supported.
These days, I bring all of that into the work I do with my clients. I don't believe therapy has to feel clinical or intimidating. I want it to feel like a space where you can show up as you are and actually be heard.
If that sounds like something you're looking for, I'd love to work with you.
Outside of the therapy room, I try to live the same values I bring into it. I’m still figuring it all out, too.
When I'm not with clients, you'll find me with my cats on the couch watching a movie or somewhere out in nature. I love the ocean, connecting with friends, and spending time with animals.
